The Grand Premiere of the movie " A Heart On The Mend" will take place on Sunday October 2nd, 2022 at the Strand Theater. The event will begin with the traditional red carpet at 4:00 PM. This event will be attended by Haitian media, Haitian notables and several Boston political figures such as City Councilor at Large, Ruthzee Louijeune; Randolph Town Councilor, Natacha Clerger; Taunton's Mayor,  of Taunton, Shauna O'Connell and many more.

The movie is directed by Karm-Syndia and written by Brunir Olivier Shackleton.  They are both the Executive Producers and Owners of CinéLions. The film features renowned Haitian actress, Nadège Telfort; MPAH Award winning actresses, Betty Bella Lemite and Marie Blaise-Sauvagère; Boston based actress,Venette Jean-Pierre and Haitian Youtube comedian, Jean Laplante.

The main purpose of this coverage will be to promote a new image of the Haitian community. A more positive perspective than the current one that is being highlighted in the news.

Synopsis of the film: Following the unexpected death of his fiancee the night before his wedding, Ralph's desire to ever love again is shattered. Then he meets Joanne. Will her love and her charm be enough for him to start living again; for good this time?
