The Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra traces its history back to the night of March 6, 1808, when six Harvard men first formed the Pierian Sodality.
Harvard's premier symphony orchestra, the HRO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is 100% student-managed and professionally-conducted, performing four times a year in historic Sanders Theatre and engaging in outreach activities in the greater Boston communities.
