​​Born in Haiti, Esli Honore is a fifth-semester piano principal majoring in contemporary writing and production and performance at Berklee. He is influenced by Frédéric Chopin, Jason White, and Oscar Peterson. Honore studied for one year at the National Conservatory of Music of the Dominican Republic, and played in an all-star jazz band during Berklee’s 2019 Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive. He enjoys composing and arranging music, and can play styles ranging from classical, gospel, R&B, and funk to Latin, jazz, and Haitian folk music.
