The Composers Conference presents a series of three Conference Ensemble Concerts for the 2022 Conference with Music Director, Vimbayi Kaziboni.
The Conference Ensemble of 16 chamber musicians under the direction of Music Director & Conductor, Vimbayi Kaziboni and Holly Druckman (2022 Davidovsky Conducting Fellow) will present a program of World Premieres by Conference Composer Fellows.
For Concert #1 (Medications & Constellations), Composer Fellows Andrew Tholl and Luke Haaksma will be featured, alongside music by Pauline Oliveros, William Grant Still, and Francis Poulenc on Thursday, July 28 at 7:30pm.
For Concert #2 (Sketches & Relics), Composer Fellows June Young Will KIm, Stephen de Filippo, Livia Malossi, and Chelsea Komschlies will be featured, alongside music by Florence Price and Georgy Ligeti on Sunday, July 31 at 7:30pm.
For Concert #3 (Fantasias & Squiggles), Composer Fellows Chris Chandler, Sepehr Pirasteh, and Sarah Wald will be featured, alongside music by George Benjamin/Henry Purcell, Sky Macklay, and Vito Zuraj on Wednesday, August 3 at 7:30pm
$10 admission. Proof of vaccination at the door and wearing of masks is required for entry to all events.
