Long & Away presents a brand new program for voices and viols celebrating the many delights of spring! This tour of 16th-c. Europe features works by Lassus, Senfl, Marenzio and others that explore age old themes of love, nature, dancing, and drinking. You'll hear morning birdsong, nighttime meditations, rarefied musings on love, and rustic songs in praise of wine. Sparkling French and Italian dance tunes round out the evening.
