Renowned vocalist Dominique Eade and formidable pianist Miro Sprague combine forces in the spirit of fearless collaboration, delving into new arrangements of old songs, exploring each other’s compositions and sharing their love of communication through improvisation.

Poetic and passionate, American vocalist, composer and improviser Dominique Eade blends musical virtuosity with a songwriter’s straightforward sensibility, creating music that has garnered critical acclaim, inspired audiences, and served as a creative signpost for generations of singers.  The New York Times calls Eade “an exceptional singer” with a “wide vocal range and a grasp on the intricacies of style.” The Atlantic Monthly recognizes Eade for her “rich voice and effortless delivery,” while the Boston Phoenix, celebrates a performance of Eade’s music as “sublime and daring.” Eade was signed to RCA Victor in 1998, recording with jazz luminaries Dave Holland, Victor Lewis and Benny Golson, and has recorded and performed regularly with pianist Ran Blake. Eade has been on the faculty of the New England Conservatory for over three decades, where she has mentored an array of notable students, from Luciana Souza and Michael Mayo to Rachael Price and Aoife O’Donovan.
