These two classes will offer participants a chance for discussion, suggestion, and critique on their work throughout the Summer. Intended for those working independently or those who want a little extra support, we look forward to engaging group feedback and encouragement to empower your projects & plans. Low key, with a focus on fun and inspiration! This is a perfect way to stay motivated with suggestions on the many possibilities that your work can take. Bring work in progress, inspirational examples, and a list of summer clay goals. This workshop is primarily intended for addressing hand-built work, but pottery is also welcome for aesthetic, decorative, and functional questions.
Enrolled students: Registration in this workshop does not include studio use outside of the two workshop times/dates. Registration in this workshop does not include materials/a bag of clay.

INSTRUCTOR
Tina Forbes has worked as a potter, a sculptor and educator for 30 years, creating clay work and teaching ceramics at Wheelock College, Mudflat Studios, Adult Educ. in Lexington and Belmont MA. For 18 years she ran Tina Forbes Pottery, a very successful business, selling her work at NY International Gift Show, and the Buyers’ Market of America. She has a BFA and has done graduate work at Massachusetts College of Art, and studied with internationally known artists: Robert Turner, Paulus Berenson and Gerry Williams. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in the USA and Canada, including many solo and two-person exhibitions.
