The Pops Concert  will feature performances by the Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra led by conductor Orlando Cela,  and the Arlington-Belmont Chorale led by conductors Barry Singer and Sarah Telford.

The evening will begin with our Strawberry and Ice Cream Festival held in the Gardens beside the Town Hall from 5:30 – 7:00 PM (weather permitting) with entertainment by the Liberty Bones Brass Ensemble and Jenny the Juggler.

This year’s Concert theme is “Music of the Stars.”  The Chorale will perform Moonglow, Swinging on a Star, I Got the Sun in the Morning, It’s Only a Paper Moon, Rocket Man by Elton John, Across the Universe by John Lennon, and more!  The Orchestra will perform Holst’s “Jupiter” from The Planets, credit music from Castle in the Sky, and a selection of music from Star Wars by John Williams.

The PSA’s policy requires that attendees must show proof of Covid vaccinations to attend the concert. Since this is a family friendly concert we welcome young children, but we ask that any unvaccinated children take a home antigen test prior to the concert. Please do not attend if you are experiencing any Covid symptoms or were recently exposed to Covid. Masks are required inside Town Hall at all times. There will be no food or drinks served in the Hall, so that masks remain on. Tables on the floor will be fewer and spaced for added safety and comfort of our attendees.
