#HellaBlack is a one-night only popup event featuring the work of local black: singers, songwriters, dancers, visual artists and storytellers.
BCA aims to amplify the voices of black artists living and working in, or around, Boston. This year, six Black LGBTQIAA+ artists will take the Plaza Theatre stage to kick off Pride Month.
Lyndsay Allyn Cox returns to curate #HellaBlack in its fourth iteration. This year's performing artists include: Almira, Diggity Dom, Ephraim Adamz, Kay Wattz, Lewis M., and Uku Umlaw. We’re shaking things up even more by having a market of Black-owned vendors along with the Live show. In the Black Box Theatre, you’ll be able to browse through merch, art, and other creations by Black-owned vendors, so you can directly support Black-owned businesses in our community.
