Inspired by Martin Parr: Time and Place, the McMullen Museum invites children and families for a documentary photography workshop to explore the process of capturing their neighborhood, a local tourist attraction, or a local business in a particular place and time.
The McMullen will offer a virtual dive into the galleries and offer guided instructions over Zoom on April 24 at 2:00 pm. Over the following weeks, participants will spend time taking photographs to share and discuss with their peers on May 7. Following a visit to the galleries and a discussion on May 7, we will experiment with photo transfers onto cloth, in which participants may directly imprint their images onto fabric.
Prior registration is required at https://tinyurl.com/2s3kkb42.
