Date: April 23 or what is available @ 5:30pm to 8:45pm

5:30pm - Doors open upon guest arrival. Tickets and seating.

6:00pm - local featured spoken word artist. Perform a 15 min set.

6:15pm - host gives a summary of Slam rules and instructions as well as introduces the judges.

6:30pm - sacrificial poet

6:50pm - round #1 all 8 poets will compete.

7:00pm - tally up scores the first round

7:20pm - round #2 the 6 poets with the highest score will compete.

7:30pm - Tally up the scores.

7:45pm - round #3 the 3 poets with the highest score will go on to complete.

8:00pm - Tally up the scores

8:10pm - announce the winner and presented him with the grand prize of $200

8:30pm - dismissal.
