Bebop, or bop, is more than just a fun sounding word -- it refers to music which was pioneered by innovators Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Max Roach and Tadd Dameron.

Join BMS Jazz and Rock Ensemble Coordinator Russ Gershon for a week of bop! In this workshop, you'll learn the fundamental tunes appropriate to your playing level, and begin to improvise.  At the end of the week, students will perform a recital.
