Her sculpture and drawings are informed by different observational viewpoints and the compressed, warped, or elongated shapes derived from shadows and reflections. Each work appears to be in the process of movement and reassembly.
Kathleen Volp’s exhibition, Pointed features small groupings of juxtaposed geometric forms made primarily from plaster, paper pulp, and clay.
