Romantic Strings Takeover

Presented by Bach, Beethoven, & Brahms Society at Faneuil Hall's Great Hall

Bach, Beethoven, & Brahm's strings will shine with two of the most glorious, gleaming works in the repertoire – the Serenades of Antonin Dvořák and Pyotr Tchaikovsky – each preceded by an overlooked masterpiece: a lyrical Andante from Venezuelan composer and international piano virtuoso Teresa Carreño, and a moving Elegy by Grace William, “Wales’ most notable female composer.”

Program: Teresa Carreño: Andante; Antonin Dvořak: Serenade for Strings; Grace Williams: Elegy; Pyotr Tchaikovsky: Serenade for Strings
