The Doll's House

The Doll's House

Presented by The Footlight Club at Eliot Hall

Henrietta Frances Lord's translation of Henrik Ibsen's The Doll's House will be directed by Katie Swimm at the Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain, MA.

Set in our contemporary moment, the play examines the life of an ordinary woman who finds herself at odds with her husband, her friends, and her community. Ibsen's classic play explores themes of money, equality, and trust in a translation by Henrietta Frances Lord, against a soundtrack of 90's rock.
