Uncovering the Clues to Your Old House's History

Learn how to research the history of your old house, uncover clues about how old houses are frequently modified over time and how to reveal their best features. Preservation expert Sally Zimmerman will share tips on how old houses evolve and why preserving them matters. This illustrated lecture is followed by a question and answer session; bring your old house questions!
Sally Zimmerman is a frequent speaker on old house preservation issues. An architectural historian and preservation planner, Sally has had a varied career working with homeowners on historic paint color selection, energy conservation options, and providing best practices preservation support in the Boston region and across New England. She holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College and an MA in Preservation Studies from Boston University.
