The Joe Hunt quartet consists of 4 of the areas finest jazz musicians: Alto saxophonist, Mark Pinto cut his teeth playing withThe Buddy Rich band. Bassist John Lockwood is no stranger to Boston fans. His history with "The Fringe" as well as tours with Joe Henderson tell us of his talent. Joe and Yuka Hunt are a married couple who round out the quartet. Yuka is one of the groups arrangers and composers. She usually sings a tune as well as providing nice piano work. Joe Hunt is well known for his jazz history in the 1960's with George Russell, Stan Getz,  Bill Evans, and others. The quartet keeps the swing of the jazz tradition alive with repertoire by T. Monk, J. Coltrane, B. Evans and others.
