Well known swing jazz duo Billy Novick & Guy Van Duser perform in Maynard as a benefit for ArtSpace, a community art center located in a 100 year old former school. Saturday, December 4 at 7:30pm
A duo for more than forty years, Guy and Billy have performed in concerts, clubs and festivals all over the US and Europe. They were frequent guests of the Prairie Home Companion Show, NPR’s All Things Considered, and numerous film and TV soundtracks. Their music is based around Guy’s innovative fingerstyle guitar wizardry, and his uncanny ability to play bass lines, chords and melodies simultaneously. With his daring musical imagination and breathtaking technique, he’s an inspiration for his Berklee College students and the world over.
Tickets are $30.00 for general seating and will benefit needed repairs to ArtSpace' building so that artists can return to their studios. Covid precautions include mandatory masks indoors, seating at 70% capacity and no intermission. Tickets will be on sale at the door one hour before showtime.
