The Anatomy of the Black Voice

Versatile Countertenor, HBCU Educator, and Black Music Researcher and Practitioner, Patrick Dailey presents a performative presentation that explores aspects of the “black sound” such as performance practice, physical makeup, historical figures, teaching styles, and communal influences using a wide variety of musical genres. This colloquium is made possible by the Granoff Music Fund.
