Arlington Open Studios 2021

Presented by Arlington Center for the Arts at Arlington Center for the Arts

Join the Arlington Center for the Arts (ACA) for the 23rd annual Arlington Open Studios on Saturday, November 13! This event will be returning to a primarily in-person format, with lots of new features and visitor favorites!

Free and open to the public, this day-long festival will take place on Saturday, November 13, 11am-5pm, and will be hosted on the largest event footprint to date in the heart of Arlington Center! The ACA is pleased to be presenting over 50 participants this year featured at 3 locations in Arlington Center (Arlington Town Hall at 730 Mass Ave, Arlington Center for the Arts at 20 Academy St, and First Parish Unitarian Universalist at 630 Mass Ave) and the Robbins Library will be hosting a Book & Art Sale in their Community Room as part of the event!

Participating artists are presenting a range of mediums including painting, photography, fiber, ceramics, glass, fine jewelry, mixed media, printmaking, and sculpture. And ACA’s six (6) studio artists will be opening their doors to provide a peek into their creative spaces on the 4th floor of the ACA facility.

In addition to visual arts, the day will also feature ACA’s  first ever Porchfest Stage on the steps of Town Hall featuring four (4) Arlington Porchfest acts, and poets from the Red Letter Poems Project will be doing readings from 1-3pm in the Lyons Room at Town Hall!

Visitors will discover all of the creativity that lives right in their neighborhood, and meet artists from Arlington and beyond. With unique artwork at every price point, it’s a great opportunity to shop local and support the arts!

ACA will require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or recent negative PCR test from all artists and event attendees ages 12 and older for all indoor portions of Arlington Open Studios. To read the full policy, visit acarts.org/covid-19-updates. Masks are currently required of all visitors to our facilities.
