Into the Collection offers visitors an opportunity to view and learn more about objects from the McMullen Museum’s permanent collection rarely on display. In conjunction with the McMullen’s current exhibition, Mariano: Variations on a Theme | Variaciones sobre un tema, Assistant Director Diana Larsen, aided by the Museum’s Student Ambassadors, will offer a virtual presentation on drawings and sculpture by Cuban artist Roberto Estopiñán in the Museum’s collection. Visitors are invited to learn from the presenters, ask questions, and share their knowledge and observations.
In order to view the works discussed in the virtual presentation up close, the McMullen will display the objects at the museum the following day, Tuesday, October 26, from 2:00–4:00 pm.
