A journalist trades headlines for the stage in an attempt to save the world.
What if you learned something so important that you packed your bags and set out to tell the world? This is the story of science journalist Alanna Mitchell’s grand adventure into the ocean to learn its secrets, face its demons, and come to grips with the devastating implications of climate change that threaten our world.
Sea Sick is a non-fiction tale refreshingly told by a science journalist, where her marvelous discoveries are always presented through the lens of an irresistible sense of humor and informed by some of the most fascinating scientists in the world. Based on Mitchell’s international best selling book—winner of the Grantham Prize for excellence in environmental journalism in 2010—this show will leave audiences hopeful and ready to act.
The run time for this in person event is 65 minutes. It is recommended for all ages, and tickets will be $60.
