Guerilla Opera presents two live performances of ELLIS on October 2 & 3 at 7:00PM at the Old South Meeting House in Boston. ELLIS is a world premiere multimedia and immersive opera based on true stories from Ellis Island featuring music by Gabriele Vanoni, libretto by Ewa Chrusciel, and video installation and stage direction by Laine Rettmer. Experience the clash of cultural identities, the artifacts immigrants bring with them, and the acceptance or intolerance of immigrant cultures through emotional stories of migration.
