The James Montgomery Band comes to Kowloon in Saugus, for an OUTDOOR event to celebrate it’s 50th anniversary; as part of a benefit concert series ‘Home Grown Rock – Boston’s homeless Veterans’.
Montgomery was and remains, a one-man dervish capable of grabbing an audience, controlling it and giving it a night to remember.
Montgomery came to town, from his home in Michigan, to get an education and play a little music. He presented a fresh image, a powerful sound, great backing musicians and a “party ‘til you drop” stage persona.
On Oct 2 James will bring his band and their 50th Anniversary celebration of its beginning (delayed to now by Covid, for those original fans) to Kowloon It is part of a series called ‘Home Grown Rock for Boston’s homeless Vets’ outside at Kowloon (Rt. 1 N. Saugus, MA).
It will feature special added guests Barrence Whitfield and Ilana Katz Katz, plus more.
