Barry Goudreau brings his band Engine Room, to Kowloon in Saugus, for an OUTDOOR show to kick-off a benefit concert series called ‘Home Grown Rock – Boston’s homeless Veterans.
Barry Goudreau, former guitarist for arena rockers Boston. There is nothing more to say about Barry in regard to this band. His guitar sound was largely responsible for the sales of over 40,000,000 copies of the band’s first two records. When the first note of any of these songs comes on you know the songs, they are so distinctive to a generation. After all, who can forget the soaring riffs on songs such as ‘Long Time’ and ‘Rock & Roll Band’.
He continues this with his new band, Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room featuring a stellar line-up featuring longtime bandmate, keyboardist, and songwriter Brian Maes, along with bassist Tim Archibald and drummer Tony DePietro. Also joining the band are a power-house group of vocalists in Mary Beth Maes, Terri O’Soro and Joaine Cicatelli.
In support of their new release ‘The Road’, they are doing just that, hitting the road. As part of that they will be performing at the kick-off of the series ‘Home Grown Rock for Boston’s homeless Vets’ outside at Kowloon (Rt. 1 N. Saugus, MA) on Sat Sept 25 @ 1:00 PM
