We're excited to celebrate the release of The Sound of Dreams! This very exciting project contains never-before-heard compositions by Boston jazz veteran Arni Cheatham. The CD features pianist, arranger, and bandleader Kevin Harris with Jason Palmer (trumpet), Gregory Groover (tenor saxophone), Andy Voelker (alto & soprano saxophones), Bill Lowe (trombone), Max Ridley (bass), Tyson Jackson (drums) and a cameo by Arni, who plays a soprano chorus on the celebratory closing track. For this performance, Akili Bradley will be in on trumpet and Lee Fish will be at the drums.
The Sound of Dreams was engineered and mixed by Ryan Renteria, and produced by Mark Redmond of Mandorla Music. The recording and performance were made possible in part by a grant from The Boston Foundation's Live Arts Boston program.
