QueerFolk Fest showcases LGBTQ+ identifying artists and bands.
We're thrilled to be co-hosting Queerfolk Festival June 12!
Queerfolk Festival provides opportunities for LGBTQ+ identifying artists and bands. After recognizing a large volume of queer folk artists and a lack of spaces to support them, Sara Gougeon, a queer folk artist and a graduate of Berklee College of Music, decided to create Queerfolk Fest. The festival is being put on by Pineworks Creative (Gougeon’s new music company) and Club Passim, an established folk music venue in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
.
Audience members can tune in virtually on June 12 at Queerfolkfest.com, Passim.org, or watch the livestream on Queerfolk Fest or Club Passim’s Facebook or YouTube accounts. The show is accessible to all with a suggested ticket price of $20 per viewer. Tickets help support festival costs, artist payments, and the future of Queerfolk events.
Queerfolk Fest is sponsored by Bluegrass Pride, a San Francisco-based non-profit whose mission is to uplift LGBTQ+ musicians and creators in roots music.
Suggested donation of $20
