This one-session introductory class will teach participants what cryptocurrency is and what an "NFT" is, specifically on the Ethereum blockchain. Participants will be able to describe the use of cryptocurrency in the current marketplace and understand the burgeoning economy of NFTs and what that means for future businesses, art galleries, art and collectible trading, 2D artists, 3D and game designers. Participants will learn the basics of what coinbase, metamask, binance, and other cryptocurrency tools do, as well as basic tips on how to keep their account secure.

This seminar class is meant to be introductory for artists and startups who are interested in learning about what cryptocurrency is, how to purchase it, how to use it, and what implementing and marketing NFTs as a digital side component to their businesses would look like.

We suggest reviewing the Werneck Dossier (link HERE) before the start of the session to have a baseline for some of the terms and understandings that will be shared in this session. If there are any further questions they will attempt to be answered by the leader of the seminar.
