Benjamin Zander's Interpretations of Music: Lessons for Life

Amanda Chi, cello

Dave Jamrog, Audio/Video Oct 9, 2019

Today we bring you an Interpretations of Music: Lessons for Life class featuring the Prelude from Bach's Cello Suite No. 2 in D Minor, performed by Amanda Chi, who was principal cellist in the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra when this class was filmed. Maestro Zander outlines the structure of the movement and coaches: "Your job is to teach [the audience] what is happening in the piece...In a sense you're going on a journey...Think of taking [the audience] with you." We feel confident you will enjoy joining them on this journey!
