The concert will shine a light on Addario Lung Cancer Medical Institute’s research on the epidemiology of lung cancer in young people (those under 40) so that we can advance prevention, diagnosis and treatment among that group.
Upstage Lung Cancer, the only not-for-profit lung cancer organization using performing arts to raise awareness and funding for lung cancer research, has scheduled a new event, entitled “It’s a Small World, Right?” for April 29th at 7:00 pm EDT US. This virtual event will feature an ensemble of international performing artists who will perform joyful and uplifting music and dance from ten countries and cultures, including Brazil, Japan, France, Netherlands, Greece, South Africa, Italy, India, Ireland and the United States.
It’s a Small World Right? is a celebration of music and dance from around the world. Jordan Rich celebrated WBZ Radio personality will serve as emcee of the concert. During the event guest speakers Jacob Sands, MD, and Nian Sun, PhD, discuss the importance of early detection research to save lives. Songs and dances will be performed by:
