Amazons Among Us, Donna Dodson; wood stone poem, Andy Moerlein

Presented by Boston Sculptors Gallery at Unknown

Donna Dodson exhibition of Amazon's Among Us will feature a Virtual Conversation with Chanda Prescod-Weinstein The Future of the Feminist Imagination, Thursday, May 20, 7pm. First Friday closing event/performance She’s a Beast with Kledia Spiro and Janelle Gilchrist Dance Troupe, June 4, 5 – 8:30pm

The works featured are inspired by Moerlein’s fascination with ancient practice of collecting and

displaying unusual and often awkward stones. Brought indoors and placed on pedestals, these stones

(Scholars Rocks, Viewing Stones) are transformed into icons of personal or imagined journeys.
