Join the conversation with JArts and contemporary artist Julie Weitz, creator of ‘Golem v Golem’, a work utilizing Jewish allegory, folklore, and spiritual practice, and confronts ecological issues.
Golem v. Golem is a hybrid digital/public art physical installation for Passover, one of 3 installation nationally as part of Dwelling in a Time of Plagues, made possible by CANVAS. Designed for Instagram, follow artist Julie Weitz’s alter ego, the Golem, as she takes a serious look at what plagues us today. JArts Executive Director Laura Mandel will explore and view this ongoing work with Weitz in this special JArts Live episode.

Life-size images of Golem will also be on view on the facade of the Vilna Shul, 18 Phillips St., Beacon Hill, beginning March 23rd.
