The Brookline Music School Faculty Artist Series is proud to present BMS piano faculty member Cynthia Sanger in Dance and Imagery in the Piano Repertoire on Sunday, March 21st at 4pm. This innovative performance includes piano solo and dance with IMAGINEMOTION, a term Cynthia created to describe her process of interpreting the music of classical composers with imagination, motion, and emotion. An online concert format adds extra value to the performance dynamic as the audience experiences music and dance in a split screen display.

The piano is an instrument through which my imagination flows and I want to not only communicate with you my interpretation of what Schumann, Bach, Debussy and Chopin composed, but also encourage you to actively use your imagination to move and identify the mood or emotion of the pieces I’m playing for you."
