One Year On: Reflections on the Boston Art Scene

One Year On: Reflections on the Boston Art Scene

Presented by Boston Art Dealers Association and Gallery 360, Northeastern University at Online/Virtual Space

One year ago, on March 12, 2020, the Boston Art Dealers Association, in collaboration with Northeastern University’s Center for the Arts, was slated to host a panel discussion with Boston cultural practitioners questions of art and audience. Two days before, the panel was cancelled as concerns about the novel coronavirus reached a tipping point, and educational institutions began to send students home. One year later, we bring panelists back together to reflect on how Covid-19 and the ongoing movement for racial justice have informed their practices and changed the landscape of the city’s art scene.

This event is offered in collaboration with the Boston Art Dealers Association (BADA) and extends the conversations of the Gallery 360 exhibition ‘Dream Boston‘. While free and open to the public, a registration is required in order to join us on Zoom. Please register by clicking here or on the button at the top of the page, and note that all times are listed in Eastern Standard Time (EST).
