Dr. Angela Cook and The Rev. Joseph Cook founded Paige Academy as an independent elementary and nursery school in Roxbury in 1975. Paige Academy programs are steeped in a strong academic and project-based curriculum and grounded in the value system of Nguzo Saba: unity, self determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith.
