(Chelsea MA.) The Western Front, 121 Webster Ave in Chelsea 02150 opened its doors to recreational marijuana consumers November 10, 2020. Co-founder Marvin Gilmore, WWII veteran and former proprietor of The Wester Front Reggae venue, has a history of bringing people together. By connecting their ample wall space with local and international Artists, they now offer The Western Front Gallery featuring 2D and 3D art. The three artists on display the month of February celebrating Black excellence are Kofi Kayiga, Duken Delpe, and Kitauna Parker.
The clean well lit white walls call out for large pieces, some as large as 60 x 60. After viewing the selections curated by Hank Fay, General Manager Cassandra Valencia Leetz writes "YES!!! These are AWESOME." Her staff is in agreement, it is awesome. This is a world-class installation right in the neighborhood!The gallery and dispensary are open everyday, seven day a week. Pandemic precautions are in place. Masks, temperature check, and social distancing are enforced. 21+, present an acceptable ID for entry
