Audio Storytelling

Presented by Artisan's Asylum at Online/Virtual Space

This 3-part class will introduce the skills necessary to begin producing a great-sounding podcast, oral history, or audio story. We’ll cover how to record, edit, clean, and manipulate audio using a simple home set-up. To do so, you’ll learn how to use Reaper, an affordable and powerful digital audio software. We’ll also learn some vocabulary and techniques for active listening, seeking to clearly articulate what we’re hearing and diagnose common audio problems. No prerequisites or special materials are needed, only a laptop and open ears!
