There will be an art history component in class that will discuss the use of these materials in contemporary art. Artists including El Anatsuie, Katharina Grosse, Mark Bradford, Thornton Dial, Abigail Deville, Anselm Kiefer and Ghada Amer will be discussed among a long list of artists in class with daily presentations.
