Sarasa is delighted to welcome back the sublime countertenor Christopher Lowrey in a wonderfully intimate program of mostly 17th-century songs and instrumental works for voice, lute and cello.
Selections include Musick for a while and other gems by Henry Purcell; traditional, folk and spiritual songs reflecting the Nativity, and less familiar but incredibly delectable Italian monody by female superstars Barbara Strozzi and Francesca Caccini. Other works by Merula, Colombi and Frescobaldi. Not to be missed!

PLEASE NOTE: All concert attendees must purchase their tickets in advance, and will be required to confirm that they have not had any symptoms of covid-19 within the seven days prior to the concert. No walk-in tickets will be allowed.
