Dive into the historical geography of Uphams Corner with Atlascope, the newest research technology from the Leventhal Map & Education Center’s user-friendly portal for exploring urban atlases. Available in desktop and mobile versions, Atlascope serves serious research as well as on-the-spot history lessons with free, location-based access to detailed atlases in the BPL collection. Leventhal staff will be doing neighborhood-specific deep dives of community development and interesting historical tidbits for Uphams Corner on October 28th from 7-815 pm.
