Music at the Meetinghouse, a new concert series presented by First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Medfield, is proud to present our inaugural event, a concert with Dan & Claudia Zanes. Grammy award winning children’s performer Dan Zanes and Haitian-American music therapist / jazz vocalist Claudia Zanes have been making music with each other since the day they met in the fall of 2016.

In four short years, they have been commissioned to write a children’s folk opera by The Kennedy Center, published a songbook with Quarto Group USA and performed inclusive and sensory friendly concerts, school workshops, singalongs and folk festivals thoughout the U.S. and Canada. And – the icing on the cake – in the midst of it all they were married!
