How does a painting "speak" to you? Learn to identify the principles that create a painting language. A successful painting depends on a well thought-out composition and harnessing the power of color.

Each week will include live class-time to study the design dynamics of a great painting by working independently and then sharing with the group. There will be follow-up assignments each week to discuss during the next session. Students will also be working in tandem on their own painting projects. Regular feedback during each session between group meetings is available via the classroom.
