A.R.T. Presents Talking Politics with Maxine Isaacs

A.R.T. Presents Talking Politics with Maxine Isaacs

Presented by American Repertory Theater at Online/Virtual Space

Maxine Isaacs from Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences leads an interactive lecture centered on interpreting public opinion in the lead-up to the election. Isaacs was the press secretary and deputy campaign manager to former Vice President Walter F. Mondale when he ran for president—the first woman to hold that position in a major party candidate’s campaign.

About Maxine Isaacs
Maxine Isaacs has been on the faculty of Harvard University since 1994, where she has taught hundreds of Kennedy School and undergraduate students about presidential campaigns and elections, and the relationship between foreign policy and American public opinion. She also has taught at George Washington University and NYU. In addition to serving as an American Associates of the National Theatre board member, she is a trustee of Skidmore College and Signature Theatre/Arlington VA, and a former trustee of the Folger Shakespeare Library and other organizations. An enthusiastic theatergoer and supporter, she took a leave from teaching in 2007-08 to form a theater production company, The Max Productions LLC, which today serves primarily as a philanthropic vehicle to support nonprofit theater.
