Webinar: Learning the Basics of Your Digital Camera Pt 1

Presented by Hopkinton Center for the Arts at Hopkinton Center for the Arts

Just get a new camera? Frustrated with one you have had for a while and wish you could get better images? Join us for a workshop designed to help understand the features of digital cameras and learning how to get off auto! This workshop is immediately followed by the next level which will deal with shutter speeds and enhancements, which requires separate registration. For those who understand the basics of their camera, you may register just for section 2.

Instructor: Joy Marzolf. No experience required. This is an online workshop.

Joy Marzolf has been a wildlife photographer and Naturalist for over 20 years. She is a Trip Leader for the non-profit Oceanic Society and has photographed a wide range of wildlife around the world, from venomous snakes and grizzly bears to butterflies and dolphins. One of her passions is helping people to better understand wildlife and how understanding the subject can help a photographer take better images. She previously taught wildlife photography and photo editing classes for 13 years with Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary. She is now teaching adults and families about wildlife and photography through programs with her new company The Joys of Nature (www.thejoysofnature.com)
