The Boston-born duo Mutual Friends is the living room pet project of writers Michelle Mouw and Casey Greenleaf. Their work is an Autumnal, schoolyard tussle with the oddity of morphing into an adult in a world on fire while still enamored with it all. Their sound is curious while remaining familiar, waxes playfully philosophical, and remains sorrowful without ever losing hope.
