Summer Series Organ Concert - Carolyn Craig

Carolyn Craig, of Knoxville, Tennessee, is a second-year Master of Music student in Organ Performance at Yale University’s Institute of Sacred Music. Carolyn is the Senior Organ Scholar at Trinity on the Green, where she works with Walden Moore. She studied with Jon Laukvik in 2019-2020 and will study with Martin Jean in the coming year. Carolyn was the 2018-2019 Organ Scholar at Truro Cathedral in Cornwall, England. She served as Undergraduate Organ Scholar at Trinity Episcopal Church in Bloomington under Marilyn Keiser. Carolyn earned a BM in Organ Performance with minors in Conducting and German from Indiana University in 2018, where she studied with Chris Young and held the university’s prestigious Wells Scholarship. During her semesters in Graz and Vienna, she studied with Ulrich Walther and Johannes Ebenbauer, respectively. As a winner of the Quimby Regional Competition for Young Organists, she performed in the 2014 National Convention of the AGO in Boston. She was named to The Diapason’s 2019 class of 20 under 30. She is a finalist in the 2020 Arthur Poister Competition. Carolyn has been heard on Pipedreams and in recital in the US, Austria and England, including recitals at St. Paul’s London, Winchester, and Truro Cathedrals.
