The Fox Branch of the Arlington Public Library and Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture (ArtsArlington.org) are teaming up to offer a free ZOOM workshop for youth and families with artists Kari Percival and Sara Peattie. Get started making art, a photo series or a short video about Fox and Owl -- paper puppets you can print out and transform into your own works of art. Take them on an adventure. Tell a story, send a message! Maybe Fox and Owl start a campaign to save butterflies. Maybe they visit Mars, or ancient Egypt, or the Fox Library... It's up to you!

Your short video or photos can be a part of the Fox & Owl Tiny Film & Photo Festival later this summer. Advance registration required; we will send you some stuff to do before we meet with Sara Peattie (of the The Puppeteers Cooperative) and Kari Percival (who designed our Fox and Owl), who will give you one-on-one suggestions and tips on creating characters, telling stories, and building a tiny puppet theater.
