State Senator Barry Finegold (D-2nd Essex and Middlesex) and State Representative John Lawn (D-10th Middlesex), Chairs of the Committee on Election Laws, will discuss preserving and expanding voting in the upcoming primary and general elections.
Join the Kennedy Institute for a conversation with Massachusetts State Senator Barry Finegold (D-Second Essex and Middlesex) and Massachusetts State Representative John Lawn (D-10th Middlesex), Chairs of the Committee on Election Laws, about the preservation and expansion of voting in the upcoming primary and general elections.
Moderated by Pam Wilmot, executive director of Common Cause Massachusetts, the discussion will focus on the new Massachusetts law that requires the Secretary of State to post mail-in ballot applications to registered voters and expands the early voting timeline for the primary and general elections. These changes come as the Commonwealth continues to fight the coronavirus pandemic in an effort to protect the health and safety of voters while expanding access.
