About the Artists:
Dzidzor (Jee-Jaw) is a Ghanian-American folk, performing artist, author and entrepreneur. Didzor’s style of call and response, has reimagined poetry and story-telling as a way to include the audience in a experience to challenge, inspire and encourage self beyond traditional forms. Her first EP is out now, called "bush woman", which is a sonic journey of healing, embracing uncomfortability and embracing chaos.

Poetra Asantewa is a sensational balance of poetry, music, intellect and wit. Multifaceted in her practice, Asantewa fuses her poetry, music and design skill to subvert the mainstream role of artists as entertainers only – by being unapologetic and unwavering in using her voice to question things more, observe things closely, explore and appreciate, all the while being entertaining and being good at it.

Eli Fola is a Nigerian born, New York based multi disciplinary artist, saxophonist, DJ, Producer and talking drummer. He is the creator and pioneer of the genre Yoruba Tech Soul — a fusion of traditional Nigerian sounds, electronic, jazz, house, and classical music.

Cloud Cafe is an immersive virtual performance series/fundraiser for artists who have lost work during the pandemic. Each event is curated by a different artist, and uses Zoom in creative ways to replicate that feeling of watching a performance in a room full of people. 100% of the proceeds from every performance will go to the artists and curators.
This is the second of three events Cloud Cafe is hosting in July. To learn about other upcoming events, or to make a donation to Cloud Cafe, please visit www.cloudcafearts.com. Follow us on Instagram: @cloudcafearts
