The Guild of Boston Artists is proud to present its Summer Online Exhibition - "Nature's Refrain" to run exclusively on Artsy from June 17 - July 31.

This exhibition will focus on artworks that highlight the nourishing and restorative wonders of nature. From the dawn of time to the present day, from Dürer and DaVinci to Vermeer, the Romantics to the Impressionists, artists have long been inspired by the natural world. During times of strife many look to both nature and the arts to provide respite and renewal. This show includes artworks that draw from the incredible diversity of the natural world and emphasize resiliency and regrowth - landscapes that marvel at the tranquil repose and sublime power of the world around us, still life paintings composed of natural objects, symbolic or mythic representations of the natural world and its forces, as well as portraits and figurative works that communicate the wonder of the human body and soul.
